JUPITAJNIA PARENTS is a deck of cards for building relationships with the child and solving difficult situations for the child and for the parent / guardian. The cards contain dozens of questions that inspire, support, arouse curiosity and build self-awareness.

What is Jupitajnia PARENTS?

Jupitajnia PARENTS is a deck of cards:

• for building a relationship with a child,
• for solving difficult situations - for a child and for a parent,
• supporting emotional education,
• to facilitate communication.

The tool is designed to work with children over the age of 8, but it may happen that the language used in the cards should be modified to one that will be understood by your child. Don't worry if your answers are brief or even missing at first. The questions are structured in such a way that they can be understood by an adult. Depending on your child's age and language, we encourage you to reformulate the questions so that your child understands them. Usually, we give several options how to ask about the same thing in other words or deepen the topic.

The instructions attached to the cards contain hints and scenarios for the use of cards, but there are many more possibilities - available to parents or professionals who like open tools and looking for new solutions.

The deck consists of four parts:

• Difficult Situation Cards,
• Relationship cards,
• Emotion cards,
• and Special Cards.

Difficult Situation Cards

They are used for:

• Difficult situation analysis (what happened and how are you doing with it?)
• Support in creating ideas for a solution (how can you approach it?)
• Building an action plan for the future (what will you do?)

Relationship Cards

The purpose of these cards is to get to know each other better from an unusual side, to build a good atmosphere and bond. They are supposed to enhance positive behavior, show appreciation for the other person, and make you happy.

Emotion Cards

Whenever emotions are mentioned, treat the cards as a guide to identify and name emotions, including your own. You can also start with these cards to identify when your child feels the emotion and whether they understand it at all.

Special Cards

These cards are a guide with needs, blank cards to use at your discretion or a Paraphrase Card - which reminds you to check the understanding of your child's messages.
